Chris Jericho recently appeared as a guest on The Allison Hagendorf Show for an in-depth interview covering all things pro wrestling and rock and roll.
During the discussion, the AEW star and Fozzy front man spoke about NWA owner and Smashing Pumpkins front man Billy Corgan.
Featured below are some of the highlights from the interview.
On Billy Corgan: “He owns the NWA, he’s done a fairly good job of building that company up. I like talking to Billy because he’s probably the only guy, there are a couple of others, but at the highest of levels, that has done this and understands the sacrifice of both. He does the Pumpkins whenever he wants, and I do wrestling whenever I want, but I think the passion project is NWA and the passion project is Fozzy, and to see both of them grow is gratifying.”
On Corgan being a smart guy who is passionate about wrestling: "He owns the NWA, he’s done a fairly good job of building that company up. I like talking to Billy because he’s probably the only guy, there are a couple of others, but at the highest of levels, that has done this and understands the sacrifice of both. He does the Pumpkins whenever he wants, and I do wrestling whenever I want, but I think the passion project is NWA and the passion project is Fozzy, and to see both of them grow is gratifying."
