Chris Jericho's Name Has Reportedly Not Come Up Within WWE Creative Circles

Despite being nowhere to be found on TV, veteran AEW wrestler Chris Jericho has been in the news lately for the sole purpose that his contract with the company is nearing its end and rumors of a shocking return to WWE have begun swirling around ever he liked a post suggesting that move.

Fightfulselect.com reports that Jericho is signed to AEW through 2025 which would mean he still has multiple months left on his deal. Despite that, there have been no creative discussions within AEW about bringing him back on TV but it should also be noted that Jericho usually speaks directly to AEW President Tony Khan when it comes to his character and creative.

WWE sources who have commented on the matter have indicated that Jericho's name hasn't come up "whatsoever" when it comes to WWE's creative meetings so if any discussions have happened (as was reported at f4wonline.com) internally, it wasn't within creative but another department. Wrestlers in WWE have openly speculated about Jericho's potential return and WWE officials have also noted that he remains on good terms with the company despite the online perception. One source noted to fightful that Jericho's situation is far too early to determine as WWE is unsure what his status with AEW is over the rest of the year.
