CM Punk Cuts Off-Air Promo, Addresses Wild Crowd In Toronto After AEW Collision Ends

Saturday night was a wild night.

For CM Punk.

"The Best in the World" was nearly booed out of the building during his eight-man tag-team main event on the sophomore installment of AEW Collision on TNT at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

After the show went off the air, Punk got on the mic and addressed the loss he, Ricky Starks and FTR suffered at the hands of The Bullet Club Gold & The Gunns.

“I’ll make this short and sweet," he told the crowd that had been loudly booing him all night long. "As the team captain, I take full responsibility for the loss, but I want you all to know, even though I lose sometimes, I’m gonna keep on coming back and fighting just like your Toronto Maple Leafs!”
