What did CM Punk think of the comments made by "Hangman" Adam Page on this week's edition of AEW Dynamite?
"The Best in the World" took to social media on Thursday morning to comment on the segment that featured the AEW World Heavyweight Champion addressing their scheduled showdown at this month's AEW Double Or Nothing pay-per-view.
Page noted during the segment that he will "destroy" Punk, while also mentioning that he will not allow him to once again pay homage to WWE Hall of Fame legend Bret "The Hitman" Hart.
"Destroy," Punk started in his Twitter response. "Sharpshooter it is."
The reference is to the Sharpshooter finisher that Hart named and used during his run in WWE as "The Excellence of Execution."
AEW Double Or Nothing 2022 takes place during Memorial Day weekend on May 29, at the T-Mobile Arena on the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada.
