CM Punk Reveals What He Intended To Get Across In His Announcement On Last Week's Show

During the "AEW Road To KC" special for this week's Dynamite, "The Best in the World" explained how he might not have been as clear as he should have been during his announcement on last week's show.

Punk revealed in new comments featured in the video what he intended to get across in his announcement on last week's show.

“I probably wasn’t as clear as I should have been," Punk stated in the video. "I offered to relinquish the title and Tony told me that under no circumstances was I allowed to do that.”

Punk added, “It means a lot to me that this place has believed in me enough to let me just go get fixed."
