CM Punk Version of Fight Events Slightly Changing; Backstage Vibe at AEW Dynamite

-- As AEW's third party investigation in the brawl that followed All Out continues, more notes continue to leak out with some versions starting to different. Dave Meltzer of f4wonline.com as well as fightfulselect.com are reporting that after once claiming that the Young Bucks "knocked down" the door to CM Punk's door, Punk's side is now softening their stance and are suggesting that they may have "kicked, shouldered or otherwise forced their way in." The message behind it regardless was to convey that Punk at the time was not interested in talking to anyone as he was apparently receiving medical attention to fix up the cut he suffered during his match.

-- Punk's side is also now giving multiple versions of the reason that brought Ace Steel into the fight by biting and throwing chairs, initially saying it was to protect his wife to now saying he believed Kenny Omega was attacking Punk. In an interesting note, it appears that AEW's Chief Legal Officer Megha Parekh was actually around backstage at All Out "for everything" when the altercation occurred so she may play a pivotal role when deciding how personnel will be dealt with. One account we heard was that the Young Bucks actually took Parekh with them to confront Punk about his comments.

-- It remains completely unclear what Punk's future in AEW is but most agree that unless he is fired or suspended without pay, it's all moot anyway as he is expected to be sidelined months after tearing his triceps and requiring surgery. The heat on Punk is also said to be more for all the comments he made during the media scrum rather than his actions in the fight, all of it coming to a head after a prolonged period of time where he was rubbing the locker room the wrong way.

-- On a positive note, the vibe backstage at Dynamite yesterday was said to be "positive" with a lot of talent putting the fiasco "out of sight and out of mind" and just wanting to show up to work and move on. One point of confusion with talent is many of them are confused on what they are able to say about the incident or if they are even able to address it.
