CM Punk’s Former Theme Music Replaced In Replays Of His WWE WrestleMania 42 Entrance

During WWE WrestleMania 42 Night Two, CM Punk faced World Heavyweight Champion "The OTC" Roman Reigns in the main event. For this special occasion, Punk brought back his iconic old theme "Miseria Cantaré" for his entrance. However, ESPN has replaced this track with generic stock music in the replays of WrestleMania 42 on its Unlimited platform.

Punk's memorable entrance began with a pre-recorded video of him sitting atop Allegiant Stadium, showcasing some of the greatest moments from his professional wrestling career. He then walked out to no music before his current theme, "Cult of Personality," started playing.

Recently, fans noticed that ESPN Unlimited replaced AFI’s licensed music, "Miseria Cantaré," with generic music in the replays. In contrast, the song continues to feature in WWE’s social media posts and on Netflix for international viewers.

Ultimately, Punk did not retain the World Heavyweight Title at WrestleMania 42, losing to Reigns in what was an instant classic match.
