-- Cody Rhodes wrestled Seth Rollins last night at WWE's Hell in a Cell with a badly torn pec and it was obvious as he showed up with massive bruising, yet still gutted out the match. Rhodes cut a promo after the PPV ended that didn't air and revealed that it was solely his decision to go out and wrestle despite the injury. He hinted that he will elaborate more on the injury and his status in the future, possibly on tonight's Raw:
"I am sure that I'm going to explain things a little further tomorrow, I will be very brief. No one convinced me with a torn pec to come out here. It is solely my decision. You would have had to literally kill me from staying away from this ring. Ten times out of ten, I would have made the same decision. Going on last, Allstate Arena in Chicago, you paid your money!"
"You guys have believed in me and you didn't have to. Please know from the bottom of my heart, I believe in you, we are going to finish this thing. Thank you all very much, have a great night, and I love you, thank you."
