Cody Rhodes Crowd Surfs With Wild Fans At WWE Clash At The Castle: Scotland Kickoff Media Event

The road to WWE Clash At The Castle: Scotland continued to wind down on Friday afternoon.

Ahead of the premium live event "go-home" episode of WWE SmackDown, which will be taped later today at the OVO Hydro in Glasgow for tonight's broadcast delay on FOX at 8/7c, the WWE Clash At The Castle: Scotland Kickoff media event took place.

During the WWE Clash At The Castle: Scotland Kickoff media event on June 14 in Glasgow, multiple WWE Superstars scheduled for Saturday's PLE appeared on stage in front of a wild live crowd of Scottish fans.

The crowd was so wild, in fact, that when WWE Universal Champion Cody Rhodes came out to promote his "I Quit" showdown against AJ Styles at Saturday's show, the crowd hoisted him up above their heads and "The American Nightmare" proceeded to crowd surf for a few moments.

Also appearing at the WWE Clash At The Castle: Scotland Kickoff media event on 6/14 were home country favorites Drew McIntyre, who challenges Damian Priest for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, as well as Piper Niven, who challenges Bayley for the WWE Women's Championship.
