Tonight is the homecoming for "The American Nightmare."
Ahead of the AEW Dynamite show this evening as the Gas South Arena near the Atlanta area in Duluth, Georgia, Cody Rhodes spoke with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated for an interview to promote the event.
During the discussion, Cody spoke of tonight's show as a personal homecoming for himself, while reflecting on what he did the last time he worked a show near his hometown.
Featured below is an excerpt from the interview where he touches on this topic with his thoughts.
“The last time I was home, I jumped off that oversized cage [against Wardlow]. This Dynamite is a gift for me, coming home. This is my homecoming, and it’s going to be very special.”
