WWE Monday Night RAW announcer Corey Graves, who was an active competitor several years ago, recently took to his Twitter and posted an emoji of a person raising his hand. Corey Graves' tweet comes after the WWE taking to Twitter and asking which WWE Superstars should declare their names for the 2022 30-Man Royal Rumble Match, so that they compete in the ring with Jackass Star Johnny Knoxville.
For over 12 years, Graves was an active in-ring competitor on the Indies as well as in the WWE before retiring and becoming a commentator on NXT, then on the WWE main roster. The RAW commentator competed under the name Sterling James Keenan, which is a diss on the name of Tool’s lead singer Maynard James Keenan. Corey Graves would sign with the WWE in 2011 and compete in FCW and in NXT before retiring in 2014 due to concussion issues.
There's no word yet on if Corey Graves will compete in the 2022 30-Man Royal Rumble Match even though he is no longer an active in-ring competitor, but he did hint last November that he might come out of retirement to wrestle. Aside from Johnny Knoxville, Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford, Dominik Mysterio, Rey Mysterio and Austin Theory have all been confirmed for the 2022 30-Man Royal Rumble Match.
