Dalton Castle Files To Trademark His Own Ring Name

According to a report by PWInsider.com, former ROH Champion Dalton Castle, who recently became a free agent, filed to trademark his own ring name on January 21st. The trademark Dalton Castle filed is for goods and services in the realms of "Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibits and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer."

It was also mentioned in the report that Castle decided not to renew his contract with Ring Of Honor, but that he remains in talks with the promotion, though he wants to see what else is out there and is willing to listen to offers from other promotions.

Dalton Castle signed with ROH in 2013 and became the ROH World Champion by defeating Cody Rhodes. The former ROH World Champion lost to Rey Horus via pinfall at this past December 18th’s Final Battle PPV Event. Castle's most recent appearance for ROH was on ROH TV in a 10-Man Tag Team Match that featured Brawler Milonas, Flip Gordon, Jay Briscoe, John Walters and PCO facing Beer City Bruiser, Dak Draper, Mark Briscoe, Tracy Williams and Dalton Castle.
