AEW veteran wrestler Danhausen appears to be finished with the company.
Yesterday, Danhausen posted cyptic messages on social media that implied at a message of "freedom", amid mounting reports that his contract with AEW was nearing its end after previously having it extended due to injury.
At the time, Danhausen remained on AEW's official roster page, however, all that changed this morning when it was noticed that his profile and bio have been removed from the site. That is arguably the clearest indication and likely confirmation that Danhausen has wrapped up his commitments and is effectively a free agent.
The timing of his free agency is interesting as there is speculation that Danhausen is WWE-bound and with WWE playing up a mystery crate angle that is expected to culminate tonight at Elimination Chamber, some believe he will be revealed as the man inside, though it should be noted that there is no confirmation he is headed to WWE and in fact, on his online bio, he shared an email address which would imply that he is looking to secure indie dates.
