The event featured the first WrestleMania to feature an African-American female referee working the show.

Daphanie LaShaunn took to social media to comment on making history as the first black female referee to officiate a match on "The Grandest Stage of Them All."

"First Wrestlemania," she started in the tweet that included a checklist of firsts she experienced this weekend. "First Black female to officiate on Wrestlemania."

She continued, "Right after my match I cried, called my family, and then gave myself the biggest pat on the back. I worked for every ounce of this. Keep grinding. It’ll pay off! And that’s on Daphanie LaShaunn."
