-- After WWE Friday Night Smackdown went off air last night, The Fiend Bray Wyatt came out and wrestled around with Daniel Bryan. No official match took place but The Fiend did come out with his custom title belt. Bryan defeated The Miz and King Corbin on Smackdown to become the next opponent for The Fiend at next month's Royal Rumble PPV.
-- Prior to Smackdown, Dash Wilder made his return to action after a one-night absence due to "precautionary reasons." Wilder teamed up with partner Scott Dawson to face Kalisto and Gran Metalik. The Revival ended up winning the match after the shatter machine.
-- As noted earlier, WWE will be airing a Roman Reigns vs. Dolph Ziggler match during FOX's New Year's special on December 31. The match was actually pre-taped after last night's Smackdown and saw Reigns get the win after a spear. Maria Menounos was flown in and was the guest ring announcer.
