All Elite Wrestling started and ended their triple-header taping on Wednesday night with shoot-style promos from veteran wrestlers addressing the negative comments made by CM Punk about the company and company president Tony Khan.
Following the taping for this week's episode of AEW Collision on TNT, which as noted airs at a special start time of 11:30pm EST. this Saturday night, April 6, 2024, Dax Harwood got on the microphone to cut a passionate promo.
The FTR tag-team member addressed the CM Punk interview on "The MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani" from this past Monday, while his tag-team partner Cash Wheeler, as well as Mark Briscoe and Adam Copeland stood in the ring next to him.
Harwood's promo took place after the cameras stopped rolling for AEW Collision, making it one of the last things fans saw before leaving the DCU Center in Worcester, Massachusetts.
Ironically enough, the AEW portion of the triple-header taping, which included matches taped for ROH On HonorClub before the live episode of AEW Dynamite on TBS, which was followed by the taping for AEW Collision on TNT, also began with the live Dynamite show opening up with Copeland addressing Punk's negative comments about the promotion.
After the AEW Collision taping wrapped up, Harwood stated the following in the post-show promo for the live crowd in Worcester:
"With it being someone’s dream, with it being all of our dreams, there‘s always gonna be…you probably know this, in your everyday life, there’s gonna be somebody who tries to strip it down, strip it from you, take it away from you, take your joy away. Don’t let them do it. Don’t let them. I don’t care if they’re in real life. I don’t care if it’s on fake life, social media. I don’t care if it’s in another company. Don’t let anybody strip you of what you love, what you’re passionate about, what you wake up for every single day. I know I talk about it, I talk about it to the point of annoyance. I have what I kind of perceive to be my god, my side, my daughter, and professional wrestling, and that’s it. That’s all I got, and AEW affords me that luxury. AEW affords me that life, and now, not only does AEW afford me that life, they afford me to do it with my best friends in front of all you people."
