IMPACT Knockouts World Champion Deonna Purrazzo spoke with Fightful.com’s In The Weeds on a number of topics such as how going up against the IWGP Women's Champion Mercedes Moné has been a dream match of hers for quite some time.
Deonna Purrazzo said:
“Obviously, the first person everyone thinks about is Mercedes Mone. That is a dream match of mine, for years now. If that is an opportunity, I would be remised not to be like, ‘Yes, that’s what I want, that’s what I need.’”
Deonna Purrazzo also spoke about how she could face Moné at Multiverse United 2 if they do a champion vs. champion matchup and how she could end up battling Mayu Iwatani at Multiverse United 2 if Iwatani defeats Moné at a STARDOM Event next month.
Deonna Purrazzo said:
“If Mayu wins, I’ve been in a match with Mayu, she beat me at Ring of Honor to challenge for the then Women of Honor Championship. There is some history there that could be really fun to revisit if Mayu ends up defeating Mercedes.”
