As noted, McIntyre is reportedly planning to wait until closer to the expiration of his existing WWE deal before signing a new contract, noting there are several factors to consider.
As of the latest reports regarding the situation, McIntyre and WWE are said to be "far apart" on a new deal.
While fans buzzing that the abrupt Twitter blackout move is a protest or a hint at McIntyre’s possible exit from WWE, that is purely speculation at this point.
