When Drew McIntyre mentioned on this week's episode of WWE Monday Night Raw that he will be missing next week's show due to being away on "company business," he was basically telling the truth.
McIntyre will be missing the show next week due to commitments from an outside gig he booked through WWE, as he will be filming for the project next week.
The WWE Superstar has reportedly landed a role in “The Killer’s Game,” a new movie from Lionsgate, which co-stars Dave Bautista, Ice Cube, Ben Kingsley and Sofia Boutella.
Deadline.com offers the following synopsis for the film.
- “Based on Jay Bonansinga’s novel, the film is written by Rand Ravich and Simon Kinberg, with recent rewrites by James Coyne. The film follows veteran assassin Joe Flood (Batista), who is diagnosed with a life-threatening illness and authorizes a kill on himself to avoid the pain that is destined to follow. After ordering the kill, he finds out that he was misdiagnosed and must then fend off the army of former colleagues trying to kill him.”
