Drew McIntyre Says He Has Even More Issues With John Cena Than CM Punk, Wants Match On His Farewell Tour

"The Scottish Warrior" wants to share the ring one final time with "The Greatest Of All-Time" before he wraps up his year-long WWE farewell tour in 2025.

During an appearance on The Masked Man Show, WWE Superstar Drew McIntyre spoke about wanting to be figured into the plans for the upcoming WWE retirement tour of John Cena.

"Cena is coming back for his year-long return, which is going to be awesome," McIntyre said. "I don't know if I'm figured into the plans, but I guarantee I'll be pushing and nudging them left and right to make it happen."

McIntyre would then allude to having even more ammunition for a legitimately heated rivalry with Cena, even more so than the one he is currently involved in with CM Punk.

"The amount of stories I have about (CM) Punk and things that happened when I was younger, I have ten fold on [Cena]," McIntyre said. "There has never been a one-on-one match. If I have to drive management crazy, I'll drive them crazy. I'll drive John crazy."

In wrapping up his thoughts on the topic of John Cena, the former world champion noted that he is prepared to "tear him apart" both in the ring and on the microphone, which he points out most aren't able to do even if they tried.

"I'm going to get that match," he said. "I'll tear him apart. On the microphone, which not many people can do. In the ring. Send him packing, happy retirement. Hopefully, Punk along with him."
