Drew McIntyre Says UFC Star Khabib Nurmagomedov Could Make Some Noise In WWE

Top WWE Star Drew McIntyre recently spoke with TMZ Sports on a number of topics, including how former UFC Champion Khabib Nurmagomedov could make some noise in WWE and if he can’t make the noise himself, and he needs a manager, they got Paul Heyman. McIntyre also said that Nurmagomedov is such an amazing performer in UFC and if he can’t quite figure that part out, they will make it work.

McIntyre said, “He (Khabib) is so talented.” “I reckon he could make some noise. And if he can’t make the noise himself, we’ve got Paul Heyman. We’ve got a few talented people that can carry the load when it comes to talking. MVP has done a heck of a job for Lashley; maybe that’s another name to throw in the hat."

“He’s such an amazing performer in UFC. And if he can’t quite figure out that part we’ll make it work. That’s what we’re all about; enhancing the positives, hiding the negatives. I think the fans would love to see them.”

Back in 2018, rumors and speculations were all over the internet and social media that some potential business talks and a business relationship between WWE and Khabib were in the works as Khabib claimed on Twitter that WWE reached out to him, but ultimately nothing came off of it.

In October of 2020, Nurmagomedov retired from the UFC after defeating Justin Gathje to retain his UFC Lightweight Championship. Khabib Nurmagomedov, being the longest reigning Lightweight Champion in the history of the UFC, retired with an undefeated record of 29-0.
