- Pete Dunne, who defends his WWE U.K. Championship against Joe Coffey in the main event of today's NXT U.K. TakeOver: Blackpool special at the Empress Ballroom in Blackpool, England, took to social media to hype up the big show. He tweeted the following about changing British Wrestling two years ago in the same venue as today's show, where he claims he will "take over the world."

- Finally, WWE re-tweeted the following tweet from the official NXT U.K. Twitter page that shows video of The British Strong Style -- Pete Dunne, Tyler Bate and Trent Seven -- meeting up in Blackpool, England ahead of today's NXT U.K. TakeOver: Blackpool show. As noted, Dunne will defend his WWE U.K. Championship against Joe Coffey in the main event, while Bate and Seven, collectively known as Moustache Mountain, will face James Drake and Zack Gibson in the finals of the tournament to crown the first-ever NXT U.K. Tag-Team Champions.
