As noted, WWE released 21 Superstars from WWE and NXT on Thursday.
One particular name stood out to Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.
The future WWE Hall of Fame legend, fresh off his surprise WWE return on last week's Friday Night SmackDown, took to Twitter (X) late Thursday evening to comment on the WWE release of Dolph Ziggler.
"Just seeing all these releases now," he wrote as a caption to a photo showing Ziggler's many achievements from his WWE career. "These days so f’n tough for the ones who gave their all to our crazy world of pro wrestling. Like Dolph Ziggler."
Rock continued, "What a decorated WWE career and I’ll always be a supporter and fan. Can’t wait to see what he (and everyone) does next… #onward."
