Early Betting Odds Revealed For CM Punk vs. Bron Breakker On The First WWE RAW Of 2026

Reigning WWE World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk is scheduled to defend his title against "The Unpredictable Badass," Bron Breakker, on the January 5th episode of Monday Night RAW on Netflix. This event will take place at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, marking the show's first anniversary on the streaming service.

Early betting odds for the championship match indicate that Punk is favored to defeat Breakker and retain his title, with a 64.3% likelihood of success.

This match was announced by WWE Hall of Famer Paul Heyman during a segment on this past Monday's post-WWE Survivor Series: WarGames episode of RAW. During this segment, Breakker delivered a promo in which he expressed his frustration about how easy it was to pin Punk at Survivor Series: WarGames. He referred to Punk as a "soft ass b***h," claiming that he was no different from Seth Rollins.

Breakker further stated that Punk attempted to injure him at Survivor Series, threatening to ruin Punk's life and career in retaliation. He recounted an encounter with Punk at WrestleMania 41, where Punk congratulated him but added, “let’s see if you can cut a promo with the big dogs now.” Breakker concluded his promo by declaring that he had made his statement and that Punk would soon be looking up at him as the new champion.
