Early Estimates For AEW Wrestle Dream 2023 PPV Buys For Show Featuring Adam Copeland's Debut

How did the inaugural AEW Wrestle Dream 2023 perform business-wise?

Let's take a look at the report card!

Dave Meltzer noted on a recent episode of Wrestling Observer Radio at F4WOnline.com that the show didn't drew particularly well.

"WrestleDream didn’t do the late buys that All In and All Out did on television," Meltzer noted. "It is now tracking 4.7 percent lower than All Out for television as of the same number of days after the show."

He added, "As noted before, it was originally up 25 percent on streaming. It feels like 108,000 to 120,000 at this point, but could be lower."

The longtime editor of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter would go on to say that Wrestle Dream drew half of the TV buys compared to All In, resulting in 96,000 TV buys alone.
