Last week on Monday Night RAW, Edge left everyone in wonder following Randy Orton's challenge to a "straight-up wrestling match" to be held at the next pay-per-view event, Backlash.
The challenge came after Orton stood face-to-face with Edge and attempted to state the "better man" won the Last Man Standing match on Night Two of Wrestlemania 36. Orton then exited the ring to head backstage following his statement, stopping short on the ramp with his back to Edge.
Orton turned back towards the ring and quickly climbed back in, shaking his head in disgust as he continued on to reiterate the "better MAN did win the LMS match. However the "better WRESTLER did not, Orton ultimately challenging Edge to a wrestling match for the upcoming WWE pay-per-view event, Backlash.
Edge informed fans via Instagram on Sunday (5/17/20) that he would have an answer for Orton on tonight's RAW (5/18/20 episode) in the way of a formal response. The comment he left beneath the picture mash-up was short and to the point, "Answer tomorrow" which can be seen below:
To hear Edge's official response to Orton's challenge, be sure to tune in to WWE Monday Night RAW on USA Network tonight, May 18th beginning at 8/7 Central.
