Estimates on Amount of Money WWE Lost by WrestleMania Changes & Possible 2020 Losses

— The estimates are that WWE will be losing almost $300 million in revenue and over $40 million in operating income if the company is forced to cancel live events for the rest of the year. WWE is heavily reliant and sheltered due to the fixed revenue on television, and house shows that are not televised actually lose the company money. However, losing PPV shows damages profitability and if there is no Saudi Arabia show later this year, WWE would miss out on that too.

— WWE holding WrestleMania 36 in an empty arena setting is expected to cost the company between $15-17 million of revenue based off of just ticket sales and merchandise, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. Actual other associated losses would push that number even higher.
