Last night's episode of NXT was supposed to feature the finals of the NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament between Roxanne Perez and Tiffany Stratton, but the match would end up being moved to next week's WWE NXT 2.0 episode. It was during Roxanne Perez’s promo on last night's episode that the matchup between herself and Tiffany Stratton in the finals of the NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament was announced to be taking place on the June 7th episode of the show.
Roxanne Perez had to beat Kiana James and Lash Legend to advance to the finals of the WWE NXT Women's Breakout Tournament, while Tiffany Stratton replaced an injured Nikkita Lyons on last week's show and defeated Fallon Henley to advance to the finals.
