“I grew up as a wrestling fan watching WWE, and that’s essentially where I want to be performing. I feel like in my last run there, I wasn’t doing myself justice. I needed to change something, and the change came with NXT to kinda figure out who I was again. I’ve managed to do that to some level, and I’m definitely hopeful that a return to Raw or SmackDown will happen in the future.”
-- While Balor seems ready to return to the main roster, the WrestleVotes account reports that members of the Raw creative writing team have been asking for him back for months but that no "edict" has been delivered from the top yet that would yank him from the NXT roster and place him on Raw. The report also adds that the NXT team "adores" Balor and he is likely to remain there for at least the next little while unless there is a major plan or storyline for him on Raw (or Smackdown).
