Finn Balor Reportedly In Line For Sustained WWE Singles Push In 2025

-- Former WWE Universal champion and one half of the current World Tag Team champions, Finn Balor, has seen his role with the company evolve over the last few years, primarily taking a bit of a backseat to others and falling out of the main event picture. However, it appears those plans are set to change and a renewed focus on Balor is about to materialize in 2025.

-- WrestleVotes Radio reported that Balor, who is expected to receive a 10-year anniversary celebration, is in line for a singles push as the calendar turns to 2025. While it isn't expected to be on the scale that we recently saw of the New Day, WWE is planning on mentioning Balor's 10 years while launching new merchandise that will celebrate the different characters and aspects of Finn we have seen over the years, as well as an increased focus on social media.

-- On X, the WrestleVotes account added that Balor has "solidified himself" as a true leader within the WWE locker room over the past year and whether it's related or not, WWE is looking to give a sustained singles push into 2025. It would appear that a title shot against Gunther at Saturday Night's Main Event later this month would be a clear signal towards that path.
