The first look of the new WWE Next Gen series coming to The Roku Channel has arrived.
On Monday, The Roku Channel released the official promotional trailer for the series premiere of WWE Next Gen, which debuts on the platform on April 1, 2024, starring a group of WWE's NIL athletes as they continue to work their way through the WWE developmental system in hopes of a future as a WWE Superstar.
"These athletes are the future of the WWE," Monday's WWE Next Gen trailer announcement began. "From executive producer John Cena, stream all access docuseries WWE Next Gen free on April 1. Only on The Roku Channel."
WWE Chief Content Officer Paul "Triple H" Levesque surfaced on social media to comment on the new project coming to The Roku Channel on 4/1.
"It takes next-level talent, passion and drive to become the next great WWE Superstar," Levesque wrote via X today. "Who will seize the opportunity and help shape the future of our business? WWE Next Gen streams free on The Roku Channel on April 1."
WWE Next Gen Executive Producer and WWE legend John Cena also chimed in on X to hype the new show premiering next Monday.
"A never-before-seen look into the journey of dozens of athletes who dream of becoming WWE Superstars," Cena wrote. "Millions dream. Many try. Fewer succeed. Stream WWE Next Gen FREE on April 1. Only on The Roku Channel."
