Florida State Attorney Files Motion to Put Tammy "Sunny" Sytch Back into Custody

-- WWE Hall of Famer Tammy "Sunny" Sytch is set to be back in court later this week on May 13 in the morning. Florida State Attorney R.J. Larizza filed a four-page motion on Monday to have Sytch remanded back into jail after she posted bond and was released following her arrest last week. Sytch is charged with multiple offenses in a traffic accident that caused the death of a 75-year old man.

-- The motion asks for Sytch to be ordered into pre-trial detention which would see that she would be behind bars until after a potential trial concludes, arguing that she violated her probation based on previous DUI arrests in the state of Pennsylvania while also noting that Sytch was driving with a suspended Pennsylvania driver's license and doesn't hold a valid Florida driver's license either. In the motion the State argued that Sytch "poses a threat of harm to the community based on criminal history surrounding driving offenses." She is currently out on bond after a bail bondsman put up 10% of the $227,500 surety bond needed for Sytch to be released. Court documents show that Sytch's boyfriend, James Pente, as having put up his property as collateral to bail her out.

-- Sytch will officially be arraigned on 5/31 at 2:30 PM in Volusia County Court. She was arrested on Friday and slapped with nine charges - one count of DUI causing death, one count of causing death while operating a vehicle with a suspended or revoked driver’s license, four counts of DUI causing injury to a person, and three counts of DUI causing damage to property. The accident occurred back in March but law enforcement officers were waiting for full toxicology results before proceeding with any arrest and charges.
