An announcement was recently made by the owner and promoter of Superstars of Wrestling Federation and pro wrestler Rob Fury that former NXT Star Velveteen Dream was set to appear at SWF's Home Sweet Home Event on Saturday, September 11th, but in a matter of 60 minutes, a second announcement was made that Velveteen Dream was pulled from the show reportedly due to numerous complains from fans.
In a tweet that has been deleted, it was announced that this would have been Velveteen Dream's first-ever wrestling appearance since his WWE departure last May. In the second tweet, it was said that any man can go through situations in life, but after careful consideration, they have decided that former NXT Star Velveteen Dream will be removed from the show.

“Tonight we announced Velveteen Dream would be appearing at our Home Sweet Home event. I believe any man can be slandered and have been through other situations in my life unrelated but untrue. After careful consideration, Dream has been removed.”
