-- Robert "RD" Evans, who left his position on the TNA creative team last month amid all the departures appears to have already landed on his feet with AEW, according to a report by pwinsiderelite.com.
-- Evans was reportedly working for AEW this past Saturday at Collision and he is also expected to be backstage at tonight's Dynamite show. It is believed he has been working on "backstage segments" over the weekend that will feature on AEW programming.
-- Evans left TNA on the last day of May after the relationship between him and company officials became strained, causing Evans to grow more and more frustrated. While it is believed that he quit TNA, the promotion's story is that it was a mutual parting of the ways. That wouldn't be the first time Evans quit a wrestling promotion; he previously worked on WWE's creative team and famously quit the company in 2019 after being chewed out by Vince McMahon following that year's Hall of Fame ceremony. The reason McMahon went off on him was reported to be because Bret Hart referenced Vince by name during his speech - something that those being inducted are told not to do - and the blame fell on Evans for that.
