With her name in the news as a return to MMA looms, Ronda Rousey has returned to the world of professional wrestling, making a surprise appearance for AEW at last night's Revolution PPV.
Following Toni Storm's win over Marina Shafir, Rousey appeared in the ring and pointed at Storm, who had already left but returned to engage in a war of words with the former UFC champion. Security then separated the two and Rousey left with Shafir through the audience.
Rousey - a former multi-time WWE champion, returns to MMA on May 16th taking on Gina Carano in Los Angeles in an event that will stream on Netflix. Since leaving WWE, she has been a vocal critic of the promotion as well as of TKO, who also own UFC.
This isn't technically Rousey's debut with AEW as she has previously appeared alongside Shafir - one of her best friends - in ROH. Previous to that, Rousey wrestled in WWE over two stints - the first from April 2018 to April 2019 and then again from January 2022 to August 2023.
