Former World Champion Bobby Lashley Could Be Leaving WWE With Contract Expiration Looming

-- It appears yet another former champion's WWE contract is set to expire soon and he could actually be on the way out.

-- It was first reported by PWN that Bobby Lashley's name has disappeared from the company's internal roster sheet and fightfulselect.com later reported that Lashley's contract with WWE is set to expire within the next month and possibly even as early as the next couple of weeks. The former World Champion's presence remains on WWE's website, obviously because he remains under contract for now.

-- Lashley has been out of action for the last few months, having wrestled only five or six televised matches all year and most recently at WrestleMania XL. Since then, he has not been considered for any creative plans and sources have stated that if Lashley and WWE can't come to an agreement, he fully intends to continue his wrestling career elsewhere. A former MMA fighter, people close to Lashley have also shared that while it would take the right situation for him to return to fighting, it is not something he is completely shutting the door on.
