-- Over the past couple of weeks, several names have been announced for WWE's upcoming Royal Rumble with more names being rumored as potential returnees. Fightfulselect.com reports that former WWE women's champion Asuka is another name that is being "tossed around" as potentially appearing in the women's namesake match, so much that several talent are convinced that she's coming back.
-- WWE of course has not confirmed this and always hold some names close to the vest, refusing to comment or confirm any rumors. Asuka's name however has been discussed internally for some time. The star wrestler hasn't competed since July's Money in the Bank match, struggling with injuries and not much made mention by WWE since then. Whether she is cleared to compete or not is also unknown but the fact that her name has been brought up backstage would seem to suggest that she is ready to go.
