There was a recent report that revealed that former WWE/WCW Tag Team Champion Brian Knobbs, who's one half of The Nasty Boys, was rushed to a hospital last Tuesday, August 10th due to a number of medical issues, including what is being described as “major stomach issues.”

According to Fred Jung, Knobbs' close friend, the doctor who checked on Knobbs is very much concerned about his friend's health and that the doctor wants to perform a number of tests on Brian, so that it can be determined what is really going on. The former WWE Superstar is reportedly expected to stay in the hospital for at least a couple of months as in addition to the stomach issues, the knee of Knobbs has given out and the hope is that once he undergoes surgery, Brian will be able to walk again. Brian Knobbs reportedly also has Type 2 diabetes.

Just recently, Brian's friend, Fred Jung, set up a GoFundMe page for Knobbs to help the pro wrestling legend with his medical expenses. As of this writing, the former WWE Star's GoFundMe page has already raised more than $8,000 out of the $20,000 goal.

Brian Knobbs appeared on the Prime Time with Sean Mooney podcast last June 2020 and revealed that his body is breaking down due to his years on the road and his former party lifestyle.

Brian Knobbs said:

“Everything is catching up with me. I turned 57 this year. My body is all beaten up and broken down. Saggs got hurt in ‘97, I think. I went on by myself. That 2 years in WCW Hardcore, going through tables, wrestling Fit Findlay, Bam Bam Bigelow, Hak, every night we were hitting ourselves with old tables from the building. That really took a toll on my body which I didn’t know at the time. Now, after all these years, I’m beat up. I can honestly tell you, 35 years in the business, it has taken a toll. Now I am Type 2 diabetic. My foot got infected. It went up to my knee and they had to do an operation on my foot. They gave me a new knee because my knee was totally infected. It was hell. I was in the hospital for three weeks and then rehab for four weeks. I want to thank people who contributed to my Go Fund Me.”
