Former WWE Star Dexter Lumis' First Post-WWE Appearance Announced

WWE recently released a total of 10 talents from NXT 2.0 and one of those talents was none other than Dexter Lumis. Dexter Lumis (Samuel Shaw) made his professional wrestling debut on September 21, 2007, when he started working in the independent scene. Dexter then worked for TNA Wrestling under his real name, where he is a former TNA Gut Check winner and he would even compete in TNA's then-developmental territory, Ohio Valley Wrestling, where he became a two-time Southern Tag Team Champion.

Dexter Lumis then returned to the independent circuit prior to signing with the WWE on February 11th, 2019. Lumis made his NXT debut at a house show on March 16th, 2019, when he lost to Fabian Aichner in Singles action. After making his WWE NXT debuting under his real name, his ring name was then changed to Dexter Lumis in June of the same year. It was then announced shortly after that Dexter Lumis would compete in the first-ever NXT Breakout Tournament. He was then put in a faction called The Way and in a storyline with Indi Hartwell before being released from his WWE contract last April 29th.

An announcement was made by Atomic Revolutionary Wrestling that Samuel Shaw (Dexter Lumis in the WWE) will be making an appearance at their “Born in Blood” Event on Friday, June 24th at the Rubix Cafe in Melbourne, Florida. This is Samuel's first post-WWE event since being released from his contract, but there is no word yet on what the former WWE Star will be doing or who he will be facing if he will be competing in a match.
