Ember Moon was released by the WWE last November 4th, along with several other top talents reportedly due to budget cuts. It is believed that Moon is under a 90-day non-compete clause with the WWE, which means that she will be a free agent on Wednesday, February 2nd, 2022. Ember Moon (Athena Palmer) took to her Twitter a little while back as she was one of the trending topics on the social media platform due to the WWE release of Toni Storm and said she will soon be free.
There is no word yet on what Ember Moon has planned for her future in the pro wrestling business, but updates will be provided once it has been made available. Ember's last pro wrestling match, which was her last match in the WWE as well took place on the October 5 episode of WWE NXT 2.0, when she lost a one-on-one match to current WWE NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose.
