Former WWE Star Gable Steveson Signs Contract With UFC

Former WWE star Gable Steveson has signed a deal to fight in the UFC, with his first bout expected to take place this summer, according to ESPN. The announcement was made during UFC 327 this past Saturday, revealing that the U.S. Olympic gold medalist has officially joined the organization.

Reports indicate that Steveson is likely to make his UFC debut during the company’s International Fight Week in July, which will be held in Las Vegas. Steveson was previously part of WWE but was released in May 2024. After that, he briefly explored a career in professional football before making his MMA debut at LFA 217 in September of last year. He currently boasts a professional MMA record of 3-0.

He won a gold medal at the Tokyo Olympics in 2020. In addition to his fight at LFA 217, he secured victories at Anthony Pettis FC 21 in November of last year and Mexico Fight League 3 on February 19 of this year. Moreover, Steveson signed a multi-match deal with American Freestyle in March and will make his debut at RAF 9.
