Former WWE Star Odyssey Jones Releases Video Addressing Domestic Violence Accusations

-- Former WWE superstar Odyssey Jones surfaced on social media this morning, releasing a video where he responds to the allegations that presumably led to his WWE release.

-- Back in the fall of 2024, Jones was brought up to the main roster and began a storyline with the New Day's Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods, but he was abruptly removed from TV and quietly released with later reports indicating that a domestic violence incident was the source of his departure. No arrest or charges were ever filed, but Jones remained noticeably silent on the matter until now.

-- In the video (below), Jones addresses the "false allegations" and reveals that his delayed response was due to taking legal action against the party who made the accusation as he had to get an injunction set in place for himself and family. Later on, he noted that the legal process is still playing out and there is more information that will come out but for now, he can't speak much more on it. At the end of video, Jones said he is looking to take wrestling bookings in 2025.

"I’m making this video to address the false allegations. These false claims are coming from a party that I used to priorly engage with. And I apologize for taking so long addressing these false claims, but I had to patiently wait to get an injunction set in place to protect my family, my friends, and myself."

"I’m currently taking legal action against said party, so I can’t speak too much more on it, but there will be more information to come. With that being said, I would like to thank the WWE for the amazing opportunity they’ve given me in my life. I thank you so much for bringing me on. I’d like to thank all the coaches that I’ve worked with over the years for helping me work on my craft and grow my craft and grow as a person."
