-- TMZ reports that former WWE star Shad Gaspard is missing after going for a swim at Venice Beach on Sunday with his 10-year-old son and wife. According to notes, Gaspard and his son were among multiple people caught in a riptide, with lifeguards racing out to save them. Gaspard's son was saved, but he has not been located and a spokesperson for the LA Fire Department indicated that they believe he "did submerge." Divers are scouring the area and helicopters were dispatched to look from above.
-- Tragically, one witness indicated that when lifeguards swam out to save everyone, Gaspard instructed them to save his son first, which they did. After that, a large wave crashed down on him and he was not seen again. The 39-year old Gaspard worked in WWE between 2006-2007 and again in 2008-2010 as one half of the tag team, Cryme Tyme. NOTHING of sort has been reported yet, but IF worst ends up being case ... then #Shad will have passed, but not before his final task - being a hero of a dad that saved his son's life - putting it before his very own.
