-- Former WWE Champion Jinder Mahal made his surprise debut for GCW at Friday evening's "So High" event, entering at the end of the show wearing a mask and attacking Effy. He then unmasked and revealed himself with announcers referring to him as “The Maharaja” Raj Dhesi since he can't use the name Jinder Mahal outside of WWE.
--- Mahal was released from WWE in April of this year and was under a 90-day non-compete clause immediately after getting his notice. He recently noted on social media that the non-compete was over and he was effectively a free agent and it is no secret that he was or will be getting significant interest on the indie scene.
