-- Thea Trinidad, who is more commonly known to WWE fans as Zelina Vega, has signed a short term contract with an unnamed company, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. While there was significant speculation that she would be headed to AEW, the report notes that it isn't with them and it's not even confirmed if her signing is even with a wrestling promotion. The only confirmation is that whatever deal she signed prevents her from working for any wrestling companies and that it is a short-term deal with the door still open for an eventual move to AEW in the future. She was released back in November and her 90-day non-compete clause is done and in a recent interview, AEW President Tony Khan said he was very interested in talking to Trinidad when that non-compete ends.
