Friday Night Ratings: Both WWE Smackdown & AEW Rampage Rebound Strongly

-- WWE Smackdown, returning to FOX after a one-week layoff where it was moved to FS1 on New Year's Eve, was watched by a strong 2.271 million people - up from two weeks ago - and the second best audience for the show since September. In the 18-49 demo, Smackdown finished with a 0.58 rating, way up from last week and the best rating for the show since October 1. However, Shark Tank and 20/20 on ABC still took the top two spots, relegating Smackdown to a rare third place finish.

-- AEW Rampage meanwhile was up in viewership figures, drawing 588,000 viewers - a whopping 30% increase from last week's 453,000 viewers for a show that aired on New Year's Eve. It is the second best audience of the show since early November. In the 18-49 demographic, Rampage was up to a higher-than-normal 0.24 rating to place #7 on the night on the cable charts.
