Friday Night Ratings: WWE Smackdown Audience Down Before Rumble, AEW Rampage Up

-- WWE's Friday Night Smackdown, the go-home show for Royal Rumble, was down to 2.217 million viewers which equates to a less than 2% drop week-over-week. In the 18-49 demographic, Smackdown scored a 0.56 rating, also down from last week, but enough to put it tied for first place in that important demo among shows airing on broadcast TV.

-- AEW Rampage on Friday night checked in with 601,000 viewers and a 0.25 rating in people, 18-49. Both figures are slight increases from last week's 594,000 and 0.24 rating and among the best for the show since the September-October timeframe. On the night, Rampage finished #9 among cable shows.
