Hall of Famer Bret Hart Has Reportedly Signed a New Deal With WWE

-- It was recently reported that WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart would be in the corner of FTR in a match for indie promotion Big Time Wrestling in June. The match is FTR (with Hart) against Brock Anderson & Brian Pillman Jr. (with Arn Andrson in their corner). The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that we shouldn't expect the Bret/FTR alliance to spill over into AEW anytime soon as people within AEW believe that Hart has "quietly signed a lucrative WWE deal."

-- The report goes on to state that under the terms of the legends contract, Hart would be able to work indie shows but he would be barred from appearing for AEW in any capacity. This would also mean that Bret would not be able to be a part of the Owen Hart tournament (specifically the winner's presentation) and Hart himself has gone on record to state that he has never been asked to participate in it.
