Hank Walker Offered A WWE NXT Contract By WWE Hall Of Famer Shawn Michaels

Last Tuesday night's one year anniversary episode of WWE NXT 2.0 saw Hank Walker defeat Javier Bernal in Singles action with a massive corner splash and a flying shoulder tackle. During the match, Walker received a huge reaction from the fans in the WWE Performance Center. Shortly following the show, WWE Hall of Famer and Senior Vice President of Talent Development Creative "HBK" Shawn Michaels was shown in a Digital Exclusive offering Walker a contract to be a full-time WWE NXT Superstar. Shawn Michaels approached Hank Walker as he was backstage celebrating his win with the rest of the security team.

Hank Walker, who is a former college football player with NC State, signed with the WWE in March 2022 and has already competed in a number of matches on WWE NXT LVL Up. Walker made his in-ring debut with the WWE on the June 11th WWE NXT Live Event in Largo, when he lost to Von Wagner. Walker then came up short against Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo on the July 1st episode of WWE NXT LVL Up episode and loss to Giovanni Vinci on the July 9th WWE NXT Live Event in Orlando. Hank Walker also lost to Duke Hudson on the July 22nd episode of WWE NXT LVL Up and to Carmelo Hayes on the August 29th live event in Venice.

There is no word yet on what the promotion has planned for Walker moving forward, but updates will be provided once it has been made available.
