Luchablog recently shared a Reddit post from a user stating that CMLL star Hechicero has signed a contract with All Elite Wrestling (AEW) that will allow him to work for both promotions.
According to Luchablog, they believe this report is accurate, and several sources have indicated that the agreement is indeed in place. The initial plan was for Hechicero to begin this dual role around Grand Slam: Mexico, but there have been some delays. They also confirmed that Hechicero will continue to work with CMLL under this dual deal.
Hechicero recently headlined this week’s ROH on HonorClub, where he defeated Angelico. He is currently a member of the Don Callis Family and participated in a tag team match alongside Josh Alexander on this week’s AEW Dynamite.
I believe this reddit user is correct. Had couple sources tell me Hechicero was signing with AEW. Plan was for it be official around Grand Slam Mexico, got held up a bit, I prefer waiting to be certain to say anything.
